How screwed am I for FAANG internships if I can’t answer the system design +concurrency+DBMS questions from the Triplebyte multiple choice quiz? I’m applying to web dev software engineering positions, and although I know how to use frameworks and databases to build websites I haven’t really learned what goes on under the hood yet (I’m an incoming second year student). I’ve done like 200 LC questions and find the triplebyte coding questions pretty easy, so do I need to teach myself the above topics as well for internships?
The quiz is a joke tbh
Are questions like that tested in internship interviews tho?
No
Unpopular opinion: Triplebyte quizzes are actually better than LC craps for selecting engineers. Though it's the opposite for getting a FAANG job
Triplebyte quizzes are pretty easy in my opinion. Apple is one of the company who will ask you this type of questions during the phone call based on your domain knowledge and they also mix it with LC question.
For internships @ Facebook/Google/Amazon my experience with interview was purely leetcode questions, no domain knowledge at all

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
Just more leetcode. Triplebyte questions mean nothing. Never heard of internship requires sys design.
