Triplebyte interview difficulty/ thoughts?

Anyone know what level and types of questions triplebyte likes to ask? My coworker said he got a dp problem on his screener. Are the matches Afterwards mostly to startups?

Not sure if the process has changed but I did the general backend one last year. The multiple choice was easy, banged through it really quickly. The coding question is sort of dumb, at the time it was tic tac toe on the command line, but you were allowed to bring in previously written code, so if you knew it going in you’d have a huge leg up. Short answer questions were tricky, and they’d really grill you on the details all the way down the implementation, so even if your answer was initially right they’d get to a point you didn’t know. System design question was pretty poorly prompted, they don’t really guide you in what they’re looking for. Debugging was also pretty bad, I got stuck on the second test, but when I went to test three he told me to do them in order, so I floundered on 2 for a while without any hints until I timed out. Pretty shitty interview overall in my experience

I only got matched with one startup in a month or so. I think it is overrated and they try to advertise and flaunt a lot. You should not consider it serious option. Although the interview process is rigorous and could help you sit prep and they give good interview feedback.

You can donit for interview experience if you are not getting any real interviews but the whole process is just too shitty to consider it as a serious path to getting a job.
