Try for Google, or push it out?

Hi folks,

I’m in the middle of interviewing for a bunch of companies, including Amazon, MSFT, Github, and Google.

I have already passed the Amazon onsite, but was bumped down from SDE2 to SDE1 (bummer). I’m hoping that I’ll find teams that are hiring remotely, but not optimistic.

I have GH and Microsoft onsites scheduled for this week, and Google for next week.

Prep wise, I think I need more LC practice, which is why I’m hesitant about the Google interview in particular. But, if I delay the Google interview, I might not be able to take any other offers due to deadlines.

What do you folks think? Should I just give Google a shot anyways and reapply next year if it goes south? Or should I push it out a week or two and prep and hope that the offer deadlines line up?

Thanks!

Do not give google unless your are prepared. I delayed by 1 month just 1 week before onsite. Recruiter was fine.

      OP
Thanks for the advice. But I’ll probably go for it and see what happens. Not in a hurry to get into G, especially since I won’t have competing offers...
