Anyone from REI systems care to share their experience? How is it? Have not heard much about them? TC: 75K YOE: 3
I currently work at REI Systems. Good WLB and flexible working hours. Job is very stable since we keep getting tons of government contracts (most recently we won a huge FDA contract). It’s a good place to learn (at least initially) and settle if you’re into settling. Lots of people with 10+ years tenure. No performance management/PIP culture. Regarding the downsides, I’ll say that pay is not on par with other tech companies. They certainly pay well, but not comparable to what you’d see people post on blind. Also, a lot of the projects need a lot or prior knowledge, so you’ll usually find yourself pinging/messaging a senior engineer who has been in the company for a while.
I see. "Government contracts"? I saw they have some H1Bs working there... They do sponsor right?
Yeah, they do sponsor
I think the GC policy is that you should’ve worked for the company for at least 2 - 3 years if I’m not mistaken. No experience level needed
Hmm, so if someone is close to maxout, they wont hire?
Not sure of what you mean by maxout
The retail store? I bought a bike lock there a few months ago.
No, rei systems does some government contracting
