My 7 year old Samsung LCD just made a snapping sound and the display went pitch black. Sound is still coming though. So it looks like I'll need to buy a new one..pretty bummed as it was a great tv otherwise. I'm thinking from Costco, but if anybody has recommendations, I'd appreciate it. Budget is around $500-600 before tax. I had a 40" which is ok, but willing to go to 43 or 50. If there is something dope out there, then I'm willing to go over by $100-150 more - but try and steer me away :) I guess they're all smart TVs now, but I have a FireTv already.
Why do you need a TV for leetcode?
TCL Roku TV. Cheapest of all smart and dumb tvs
Just repair the old one
Tcl 55” .. read wire cutter review for exact model. It supposedly has amazing picture quality as found in expensive ones. If you want to go expensive then hands down get an oled
You can get a 60 inch Vizio for thay price range as an led. Mine have lasted for years and good picture
Just don't forget to turn off data collection on a Vizio
That's pretty much all Tvs now a days ha
50 was the size perfect for my living room. Anything bigger would be awkward. Ended up going for the 7 series from Samsung. 650 taxes in and extended warranty up to 5 years from Costco. 2 days in pretty happy.
SAMSUNG 8 series are amazing
Thanks. Went for the 7 series at Costco. 8 series was 55, and my max was 50inches.
