Twilio offer eval (SWE)
After some negotiation, this what I ended up with: Base: $220K RSUs: ~$100K/yr Signing bonus: $20K TC for first year: ~340K This is for SF location. YoE: 6; Backend developer. Title for this role is Senior Software Engineer. Do you folks think this is a good offer or will I be able to push any higher? Thanks in advance!
Base is really good. Equities you can push.
From past threads on Twilio, this appears really good for their Senior SWE level.
Did you worked at any of FAANGMULLA in those 6 years? TWLO stock has the potential to grow and that is really a good offer.
Nope..small no name company. As per recruiter I got a really strong feedback from interviews. I guess he wasn't just saying it to make me feel better?
If team has presence in mountain view, you can save much more on COL as well.
Is this Sr 1 or Sr 2? This is a great offer for Sr level at Twilio. Usually they don't even offer signing bonus.
How was the phone interview? Is it straight from LC?
May be the sign on could be negotiated?
