What topics do Twitter Full Stack SWE phone screens cover? The recruiter said “any and everything”, any help would be appreciated
If it’s the TPS, then you can expect an LC-easy to medium (but it is team/interviewer dependent). If it’s the first HM call, then even though the recruiter may say those are very technical and you may be asked to solve a problem, that’s rarely the case (none of the HMs I know do technical evaluation during that call). But it is a very important call to make a good impression - if you do, then you move on to the TPS.
Update. I solved the problem on my first attempt with no hints, taught the interviewer a new way to complete it with recursion, got complimented on my code styles, and then got the rejection letter today that my code with reusable components is not scalable. I’m absolutely baffled.
I know how u feel . I've had so many rejections and it's crazy because you never know what they are really looking for . The only thing u can do is move on. Best of luck
And what was the problem given?

afaik it’s very team dependent. I just had my phone screen last week: it was an LC medium-ish problem that then expanded to a systems design problem.
The phone screen went over system design? That’s interesting
yup. I only have 1.5 yoe, so it was basic stuff. I don’t really have any experience in it, but did well enough to go to onsite. Good luck!
