Cant seem to find much information about Twitter engineering interviews these days, there are a couple posts on Glassdoor in 2019, but nothing specific to iOS. Any insight into how the interviews are (phone and/or onsite) or just standard Leetcode problems? Pair programming? Whiteboards? Looks like some teams do coding exercises, do technical phone interviews usually follow those before an onsite? Any tips for preparation would be great!
No leetcode. Just random internal questions specific to their issues. System design can happen on the phone.
They asked what technologies you’re currently using, and then ignore those answers and ask you questions about technologies that Twitter currently uses.
This.
Soft skills is big thing there as well.
I did a full stack interview. The interviews are very team specific so it depends. Didn't have a phone interview but instead a practical take home exercise. On site was some practical JS coding relevant to the work and a little bit (not very difficult) systems design and I did very very well on all those tech parts. Unfortunately I completely bombed the top grading interview (2 managers asking you repeatedly the same questions about all your past jobs). Don't underestimate this part of the interview and think of some good answers upfront. The recruiter will tell you the precise questions they will ask during the top grading interview and what they're looking for in your answers.
This.
Any offer in the end?
