I had an onsite with Twitter last week and got feedback that they found me a good fit for Twitter but not the team I interviewed with (Engineering Effectiveness). The recruiter mentioned that my profile would be circulated to hiring managers of other teams to gauge interest. Has anyone gone through this process or know how long it takes? Or if typically a different team expresses interest all in such situations. I’m still waiting to hear back from the recruiter.
Takes time - if you have contacts find out which team is good and reach out to hiring manager - recruiters often are overloaded they don’t care
Yeah, recruiting has been really slow to respond to any queries. I unfortunately don’t have any contacts at Twitter I know so I guess I’ll have to wait or look up some hiring managers on LinkedIn who’re looking to hire currently.
What position was it for?
Level was fluid - SWE 2 or Senior SWE
What's your YOE?
OP, how many days did they take following onsite to give you that feedback
A week
@OP I finished my onsite exactly a week ago but haven’t heard back. Should I be worried? Did the recruiter keep in touch with you intermittently after onsite?
OP, how was the design round. You don’t have to share question but any specific area to prepare/focus? For coding, I heard graph is very commonly asked at Twitter. Did you have the same experience? I have an onsite but barely any information online.. any tip is appreciated.
How did your interview go? Willing to help me even if you didn’t get any help from The OP?
No one has helped OP so far so why would you expect help from them? Anyway, sorry OP no one really gave you helpful advice. I wish I was in a position to offer some pointers on this even though this is an old post. Hope everything has worked out for you.

What was the interview process like? What type of alg questions/LC level?
I would say LC Medium level. There were 3 interviews - 1 coding, 1 system design and 1 top grading. The latter is basically them going through every sentence on your resume and asking clarifying questions. The coding question was at LC medium level. There’s also a lunch meeting with the hiring manager, but not really an interview.
