Twitter vs Linkedin?

Similar level & role, linkedin TC slightly lower! Have recently joined Twitter. Linkedin interview got delayed and by the time had already joined Twitter. Which company is better from a culture, future , benefits perspective? edit: pls add comments on why you chose one over the other.

Congrats, op! Where were you before? Do you mind sharing how did you prepare and for how long?

LinkedIn ygfh Feb 21, 2020

If you want no career growth and lots of politics go to LinkedIn. You can chill with all food and perks.

Is it across the board or certain groups/teams?

LinkedIn Afy56f Feb 21, 2020

Certain groups, plenty of challenge and grow here if that's what you want.

With all the constructions going on around HQ, we’re looking to double in size in the next two years. All of our buildings are full. We’re quite literally bursting at the seams.

So its a good thing, right?

LinkedIn sjsn Feb 22, 2020

It means we will be more bloated and politics will increase. LinkedIn has very incompetent middle managers. It's hit and miss.

Based on my personal network over years, attrition at Twitter is much higher than at LinkedIn. Seems that LinkedIn is better managed.

LinkedIn has free money coming from msft stocks. People are just resting and vesting there with not lot of growth for engineers.

Linkedin engg is considered good! Aren’t they doing something right?
