Received offers from Salesforce and Twitter with the below details: (4 yrs experience) Twitter (SD 2): Base - 160K Bonus - 7.5% Rsu - 11000 units (4 yrs) Joining bonus - 20k Salesforce (Senior Software Engineer) Base - 165K Bonus - 15% Rsu - 125k (4 yrs) No joining bonus The Twitter role seems more interesting than the one at Salesforce, although Salesforce as a company seems more stable at this point (job security, etc ...). Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks in advance
These are amazing offers. Many folks who have double the years of experience make this much. Congrats!
sales force . Stability. I also like the idea of 125k of RSUs
twitter rsu value is higher given the current stock market price
Is it 125k over 4 yrs or 125k per yr in rsu for salesforce
125K over 4 years
🐦
With the competing offer from Twitter you can negotiate and get a signing bonus plus probably some more RSUs. I really enjoy working here, if that matters at all to you.
What’s a dining bonus
Ugh, autocorrect. Signing bonus.
What work are you getting at Salesforce vs Twitter . I would prefer Salesforce as it is growing and has lot of potential to become a giant compared to Twitter who is struggling to survive ..
The work is similar that is a full stack role at both places. Cant provide more details, although, work at twitter would involve working on platform with high amount of real time traffic. Salesforce role is more about building web services
If you are on H1B I would suggest go to Salesforce would offer stability rather than Twitter
Salesforce has got new shiny Bellevue office...
Oh ok :) I would be working in SF though
Negotiate with Salesforce. Also (less stress + less money) > (more stress + more money)
