I won't be surprised. I have heard that according to California State law that a mandatory working from home warrants the employer to pay for your internet and electricity bills as they are necessary to get your employer's work done.
That's not the case at Square, so I really doubt it at Twitter...
Its not 100$ per day. We got one time 100$ productivity bonus to get anything we need to wfh (monitor, keyboard etc). Also can reimburse monthly internet charges until wfh ends.

They have published the reimbursable amounts for each location. The response to this whole situation has been amazing from our leadership! Very responsive to employee questions and thinking through every possible situation!
Not true - they added $100 to our $500 productivity bonus which we can use to retrofit a home office in light of mandatory wfh. They also will reimburse $45 now for internet, and we always had a $90 cell reimbursement.
