This interview round, the offers are i'm seriously considering are Two Sigma and Stripe. Both are around 300k. Two Sigma seems slightly more interesting workwise but does not have perma remote like Stripe. Stripe has a sketchy way of handing out stock but I still anticipate large upside on IPO. Slightly leaning stripe atm, ultimately I think i'd do fine with either. Wondering if theres anything i'm missing that strongly pushes the decision one way or the other, such as long term expectations in the trading vs conventional tech fields. Current TC 160k #twosigma #offers #stripe
Does WLB matter to you?
yes, both gave similar impressions though imo.
Stripe has notoriously bad WLB based on what I've read on Blind.
Make a poll and Two sigma will win.
i don't doubt it, but i'm looking for some concrete factors to change my decision.

Won't the employees holding f**ktons of fake paper money mutiny and demand liquidity eventually though?
Can you negotiate up for Two Sigma? I believe they can do better than 300K.
OP, congratulations on the offers! I have to schedule the behavioral rounds for TS onsite. Can you give me an insight about what was asked? 4-5 rounds with HMs seems kind of extensive for just that.
Two Sigma.
People go from tech to finance for higher pay. If you're considering finance over tech for same pay then you're doing it wrong.
Not all finance is similar. Stripe is also finance in a way
What team/org in TS? WLB and QoL vary a lot.
Whats are some good and bad orgs?
Without knowing details, Two Sigma has a consistently better reputation across the board. I think the only reason to consider Stripe here is if you think you'll make a lot of money on a hypothetical IPO, and the odds of that aren't great at this point (already at 100B valuation + founders have said they want to stay private). For me, TS for sure.
