Two sigma interview level
Have a Two sigma coding assessment coming up for Software Engineer. What kind of questions should I expect? Also, what's the level of the onsite interviews?
The online assessment is a medium /hard. There’s 2 questions. You will have a phone screen after which is also a medium/hard. The issue with their problems are that they are the LC hard types, where you have to have seen something like that before to know the hidden tricks. It’s difficult to formulate a result on spot. That said, sort the 2sig tagged questions on LC by their frequency, and you’ll have an accurate gauge on the level.
Know about leetcode islands.
For hedge funds in general, expect leetcode hard to be a possibility. My guess is compared to general tech interviews, you’ll see fewer string type problems.
