i have offers from fb and google and airbnb. I want to give 2 week notice but not sure which i company i want to take. obviously if i take fb or google they will escort me out. should i wait till after signing my offer to give notice or can i just give it now and decide later? How will they react if they know i have pending offer from competitor? My main dilemma is that if i do take Airbnb then i want to leave asap and not wait till i sign to give notice. i also want to give them adequate notice to transition my work.
Escorting out is a feature not a bug. Say you have an offer from google and you want to leave. Go anywhere you want afterwards. You didn’t lie.
Don't say where you are going, you don't have to. Just give your 2 week notice. If they walk you out, they have to pay you. Congrats, you just got two weeks Vaca paid.
Who says they "have to" pay you? Agree many do, but I don't think there is any requirement, is there?
If you give leave and you're walked out, they have to give you two weeks pay.
Tc ?
You don’t have to tell them anything about where you are going. Just give your notice. Don’t burn bridges and stay professional.
Don't say anything until you sign your offer. 2 week notice is norm. I saw people giving just 2 days notice when they got pissed 😂
If it's a competitor "on the list" you'll be escorted out and given a free 2 weeks. Airbnb is probably not on the list so can just give 2 weeks notice of that's what you want. If you refuse to say, they can, at hr discretion, escort you out anyway.
Wait until you accept an offer, though

You can give notice but do not share where you are going. Just tell them I am not disclosing it.
