Hi,

I am changing career to UX/Product Design. I graduated from college last year but it is a totally different, non-tech major.

I started a Master’s degree in that non-tech major but now as I’m changing career, I don’t want to complete my final year.

Even if I finish my final year of Master’s, I won’t be able to work in the US on OPT because my job will be tech while degree is non-tech.

If it were you, would you:

1. Come back to your home country and apply for a job that sponsors H1-B, even tho it be difficult, because Bachelor degree wasn’t in tech?

2. Stay in your home country, gap this semester and work a remote tech job to gain experience?

3. Come to the US to finish your Master’s, work OPT in your non-tech related job, and apply for a tech job that sponsors H1B in 2 more years?

Goddamn, this is huge shit to decide. All opinions are welcome :))
