I’m a L6 TPM at Amazon being put up for L7 in Q3. My base is 149K, TCT is 220K this year and 280K next year without promotion.
Got a Principal PM 65 offer from MSFT.
Base: 190K
Stock: 175K vesting over 4 yrs
Signing bonus: 50K
Thoughts on the MSFT offer? Am I likely to successfully negotiate a higher signing bonus- what is the upper bound?
I expect the AMZ L7 promo would bump my base by 10% and I’d get more stock but not beat the MSFT offer

Yesterday got these #’s from a friend who is a 65 mgr currently:
Avg performer
-annual merit increase on base 2.3%
-annual stock award $36K
-annual cash bonus target, 20% of base (36K)
Top tier performer:
-annual merit increase on base 4%
-annual stock award up to $72K
-annual cash bonus up to 40% of base ($76k)
It’s not tenable to stay TT at AMZ every year so it seems like MSFT is a better bet
