  • Linkedin uses Ember (not a transferable skill - as in noone use it) and make things proprietary. Lots of legacy. You can't find resource to solve your blockers.

Arrogant and stubborn core foundation team. They don't want changes. Takes a lot of times to write stupid RFC before even implementation. Slower to iterate.

Aside from good initial money (for some people), why would you want to work for LinkedIn? After 4 years your comp is below market rate.

It's a career suicide. The job is boring. You will not learn anything new.

  • JS, CSS, HTML, standard questions for candidates. JS covers language deep dives that youโ€™ll probably fail if you only used modern JS. HTML and CSS are open ended coding questions that covers layout and accessibility.

The best advice I can give is that **be honest** about what you know and donโ€™t know. If you donโ€™t know about something or have no experience on certain topics, say so, instead of trying to BS your way though and get everything wrong. So many people thinks they know accessibility with the few aria tags theyโ€™ve read about ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™„

You will be tested on JavaScript fundamentals, asked open ended frontend questions and build a widget using JS, HTML, CSS. Itโ€™s pretty easy if youโ€™re a solid front end engineer
