I worked for a travel company and asked a potential intern their favorite place they've been, and continued asking questions like a friend would. Their favorite memory from the trip was mimicking a disabled man's walk because they thought it was funny.
Unacceptable…
1. Disorganized thought, or unstructured thinking.
2. Lack of creativity.
3. Ignoring questions / prompts
4. Not asking questions. Or asking questions and not using the new information to inform thoughts.
5. Telling me that they’ve heard that we downlevel, and that they are “at least a director anywhere”
6. Stories for G&L that are clearly fabrications.
7. Lack of metrics in analytical process.
8. Inability to confidently make clear assumptions.
