Got an offer from Rapid7 for the Insight-IDR team in Boston. The team seems to be great and the work is exciting as well. However, their comp is known to be low. Any feedback on what I should do would be great. Offer:
Base: 150k
RSUs: 45k (4 yrs vesting)
No sign-on bonus
Rejects from Meta, Verily, and Thumbtack so far. In process with Audible. I feel I can get much better offers if I keep interviewing.
Current TC : 140k
YOE: 4

Just take my advice.
With stacking grants I'm around 300 TC but am in sales
That's assuming you are good with the pay in general. You can break into the high 200s or low 300s within a couple of years with a promotion, but they will never quite hit FAANG level pay. People who stay there do so for the culture.
So, if the pay isn't bad to you, I'd absolutely recommend accepting them. I've genuinely enjoyed my years there.
