I had a phone interview for the GS Dallas office for APM role which I was stoked about and it was a complete shit-show to say the least.
It all started when the interviewer called me 30 min late - for me that wasn’t a big deal hiring managers are busy I get it !
What happened afterwards was completely crazy, I then hear both the hiring manager’s kids playing and screaming so loud in the background I can barely hear the manager needed to say in introducing the initial part of the interview. Anyways, the background noise seemed to get louder and louder and I started to hear a Disney channel show noise as well.
The questions were all behavioral and I had a fucked up time trying to hear what the questions were. I then proceed to notify the hiring manager that I have trouble hearing in which she proceeds to let me know that she is going through different rooms and her kids are following her around. Later then, she lets me know that one of her kids threw something at her and then there was a long awkard pause.
I then somehow was able to answer all the behavioral questions and had a feeling she just wanted to get done from the interview. She then lets me know that the recruiter will be in touch soon for the next steps.
I waited for about 5 days no email - followed up with the recruiter and the recruiter lets me know that GS won’t proceed with me. I am so pissed right now because I really wanted this opportunity so bad!!
What should I do now? Should I let the recruiter know about my experience even though the GS recruiter sucks? Should I try again for another role would they find out?

I understand the coronacation has a lot of people at home sharing space and attention. But this was simply unprofessional - if she couldn’t do the interview then, she should have rescheduled for a time when the kidlets are less rambunctious.
I had a friend interview -
Coderpad : interviewer doesn't show up. Gets rescheduled, goes well
Didnt hear back for 4 weeks
Gets transferred to another team, another coderpad, goes well, in person, goes well.
No info for 3 weeks.
Transferred to final team and is told he is going to meet the team over skype.
"Meet the team" ends up being a technical interview over video (no virtual whiteboard, she held up a piece of paper to the camera), with bad audio, and interviewer was almost unintelligible due to a thick accent. Find out he was transferred to interview for an associate's position as a new grad. Recruiter knew this. Obviously rejected despite good feedback up until this point.
I was so mad on his behalf.
