Hi, friends. Recently, I’ve been applying for a SWE New Grad position in US. I don’t have a US visa and checked that I need visa sponsorship in my application. I received an email from HR asking about what kind of visa I would require. I don’t have an experience working in US and getting visa. Could you advice what of kind visa I would need? If you have faced this kind of situation, how it usually resolved? [EDIT]I’m doing my studies outside of US. Thanks
You will need H1B or L1 visa sponsorship from the company in order to come to the US
Why is the HR asking you? Don't they have a legal dept or immigration dept who should be doing this?
The same question came to my mind as well.

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
You can use OPT if you studied in the US. You will eventually need to get a H1b. That will be visa sponsorship. OPT is nit
