Vote for Trump?
Does anyone know the hiring salary range for USAA in San Antonio for the IT Director position and the IT Manager - Sr. Level position? I’ve read some posts online their salaries tend to be lower because of the benefits they offer.
Aren’t they like a government job? I have heard that the company is full of slackers.
I had a chance to work with couple of teams in San Antonio. They were using old technology, but they had good vision and great team culture.
My guess is you’d probably be looking at the $130k to $160k ballpark (and that’s before a fairly large end of year bonus plus an extra month’s paycheck and other bene’s), which for SA cost of living is quite good with room to grow. They’re not strictly a ‘government’ company though the people they serve in insurance largely are members of the service. Anyone can bank with them, service or not. They are evolving their tech infrastructure, which is not an easy thing to pull off. People i know who work in IT there are quite happy.
$110-140k
Manager Senior, IT: 106,800 - 192,300 + 20% annual bonus target IT Director, Applications: 135,200 - 243,500 + 30% annual bonus target
