USCIS response time for H1B rfe (premium)
i know a lot of folks have recently gotten RFEs on their H1 transfers - i did too amd recently submittef the RFE response. if you were in a similt boat, how long did it take between RFE response beinh submitted and you hearing back? (15 calendar days is what USCIS says they would take - trying to understand if people get that sooner than 15 days ever)

Is it common to get RFE for H1B transfer? what’s the usual reason for RFE
Right now, pretty much every renewal and transfer is getting an RFE. Reasons range from more docs required to why is a bachelors/masters degree needed for the work(in other words justify the complexity of the work). You should in fact count on getting an RFE.
and it doesn’t matter if its pp or regular application

I'm waiting as well (Day 5 today). will update here as soon as I know.. Also, does anyone know if USCIS updates the case status only at a specific time of the day ? Both my previous updates (RFE issued and response to RFE received) happened around midnight..
Not sure. When i got rfe, i checked it in the morning. Last time when i got approval, lawyer forwarded me the approval notice then the next day its updated in the website. When was ur rfe response received by uscis? California?
It was received September 6 and yeah, California.
It took usicis 1 week to update that they received the response but after that it was 3 days
Just curious for those if you with a US degree, did any of you get RFE?
Yes. I have US degree from top 20 colleges. My initial application got approved without rfe. Then i transferred twice recently and got rfes. I used to be easier, but right now its getting harder for straight approvals
I did my MS here.
I also have a US degree and my initial petition had no rfe but the transfer got RFE
6 days after uscis receive you rfe answer package.. PP.. got approved.
