Would you go to Dell EMC if you currently work for AWS?

Currently work at AWS. Being heavily recruited by Dell EMC. Was told by Dell EMC hiring manager to “write your own ticket.” Current AWS TC is just above $200k. What would you do? What would you say to Dell EMC?

    Its a bad decision. Working for Dell EMC is like working for USPS. You will have a comfortable retired life for few years. but after that you will be useless and un-employable. the "self written check" will be taken away in the next re-org.

    My experience is never take up a job which feels like a retired life.

    Why not, I would just view the culture first hand before you jump. Ask for 300k tc, could be a career maker

    My current thought is to tell them base of $225k plus 20% annual bonus. Plus $100k in performance cash (which is their method of RSU since they are privately held)

    Is that lowballing? That brings annual TC to about $270k plus $100k performance cash to offset the unvested Amazon stock I currently hold

      Performance cash won’t appreciate like amazon stock price but is still vested the same way as stocks do.
