Guys need a second pair of eyes to validate my case.

Currently with company A: I129 approved till 2024, latest H1B visa is expired in early Jan 2021.
Was planning to get passport stamped in Canada. I have DS160 filled up. one of the question is DS160 is about mentioning the details of the organization that I will work for i.e. Company A

Now Suppose I get the visa appointment 3 months down the line and meanwhile get a job from Company B which initiates my H1B. In this case, how does it affect my scheduled visa appointment? My DS160 mentions the Company A details, whereas I would have received H1B approval from Company B and I might have started working for Company B in different location.

In such cases, the details I filled up in DS 160 would not reflect my latest scenario/job/location change with Company B. Do I just need to fill up the new DS160 for company B/new location and take old and new DS160 with me for the interview?
Is it this straightforward? If anyone has gone through such case then would love to know your experince.

OP is it possible to get H1 stamping done from Canada? I thought works only from home country. Btw I'm assuming you are not Canadian. If you are then ignore this question.

Are there any specific questions asked as to why two ds160, I am it's obvious, but any concerns to keep in mind?

    • Nope. DS-160 is checked during biometrics first so make sure you dont book both biometrics & interview on same day. Just in case you need some correction and have to fill a 3rd one overnight.

Should be fine. Send an email to support@ustraveldocs and have them bless it too. Take both DS160s and their reply to your appointment.

Yes take old and new. I did this recently. I actually emailed support (it was some zen desk email specific to my country of issue) and they updated the DS160 number in my interview application. If you don’t have the option just take both ds160s and it’ll be fine

Hey Google. Which embassy did you go to and is this one in your home country?

I need to go to London Embassy and its not my home country.

I also noticed that I have only one appointment- no biometrics.. I wonder whether this is going to be a problem.

I have an appointment in London and am in the same position. But I don’t have a biometrics appointment so the interview day will be the first time I’ll be giving them the new DS160 (I’ll submit it a couple of weeks earlier for sure). Any thoughts on this?
