UX Research Interview at Facebook
I'm interviewing for a UX Research role at FB. I've done marketing research at Google, and have a scientific research background. I read that part of the on-site interview at FB is a 30 min presentation of one of your previous research studies, but the problem is that I've been at Google for almost 4 years so any of my recent research work is internal and confidential. How do UX Researchers share their past research at FB interviews if their previous work is confidential? I assume this is a common issue, but I haven't found any info about it. Any insight or advice would be helpful! #ux #facebook #google #interview
You can talk about the projects without giving away specifics. In fact, if the projects have not launched or are sensitive, it would be a red flag to the hiring team if you were to share those details.
