I don't know eBay. I paid $500 for my new Pixel. I don't mind paying upto $1k for something like a phone. It's essentially required for my day job.

It's a cool science project. And an important one at that. It created a demand for electric cars that the world didn't know it wanted. Now the big industry players with way deeper pockets and more patient investors are catching up at an accelerated rate. I feel Tesla will suffocate in the long run and it will only be known for its contribution in shifting the perspective

What Tesla lacks in raw capital, it makes up for in technology. The other automakers will eventually figure out the battery, but how long until they get an autopilot system as good as Tesla?

Tesla is not in the battery business, it’s in the empire business. Like Heisenberg.

Maybe not. They’re not in the same industry imho. But if comparing within the car industry, man... it’s the best.

Tesla will be that company which sacrificed itself for a paradigm shift. Electric cars will live long.

  • It's a company which is going to dominate autonomous car industry, energy industry and commerical trucking industry. No one is going to come close to them in next 5 years. It's your call if it's next FAANG. Heck FAANG as a combined entity didn't do anything that innovating that Tesla is doing as a single entity.

    • Almost.

Model Y is real. but probably but 7 person seating isn’t probable.

I don’t know anything about the new roadster other than the concept art so not comment on that.

Model 3 has serious paint and quality concerns, and Tesla has gutted their service and parts department for this quarters’ profitability. They also have been known to make customer sign NDAs for certain types of warranty repair work which is illegal. They also regularly account for warranty repairs as goodwill to inflate their gross margins which is probably accounting fraud.

Model S has demand but it has been decreasing since m3 was released. This isn’t really disputed, even by Tesla bulls 🤷🏻‍♂️. The m3 has been cannibalizing their other product lines (that have higher margins).

Power wall is definitely real. I’m not sure anyone thinks otherwise? 🤷🏻‍♂️ the solar roof tiles v1 and v2 were definitely faked and they scammed people out of their deposits. The solar roof was demoed before it even worked in order to get the Solar City bailout approved by the Tesla board. This was recently released in depositions of Elon Musk which are publicly available. Whether or not v3 is real or not, idk but I’ll believe it when it starts shipping in mass.

GF3 is real, but I’m not sure how the Chinese subsidiary is owned, partially owned, etc. interested to find more out about that, for sure. Unquestionably, however, is that the CCP will steal Tesla IP.

    • And to reiterate: the semi is fake. They’ll never have a semi with good range bc of battery limitations.

How many years ago did they start to take deposits on that? How many have shipped? Zero. Think about that. How many other companies operate like that?
