Too filthy, out-of-control homeless ppl, boring AF. Not to mention overpriced housing. Am I the only one feeling this way? Help me.

    try Seattle? Not as sunny as SF but much less crowded, house pricing is much lower, smaller city, much better traffic and green everywhere

    I came from SoCal so I definitely hate it when I just came here. But after a nice summer with hiking every weekend, I totally love it now. I even do winter hiking now. If you love skiing this is good place too

      I went to Seattle for week while I was living in SoCal.

      Well try coming now it's 85 and sunny for infinite number of days. Locally we don't like this much heat though. Personally I prefer rain once a week (not on weekends) so that there is less danger of wildfires and the air is clean.

    Dude, just go to mid-peninsula / south bay. SF is overrated and overpriced. Dirty, homelessness problems, the mayor couldnโ€™t care less about that all.

      Seattle's best kept secret is that the weather is bad only from Nov-Jan (3 months). Only the people who have never lived here long enough and only base their idea of Seattle weather on stereotypes think that the weather is bad here. This year has been an extraordinary exception, it was a sunnier Spring here than the sunniest city of America - Denver. People loved it here.

      It is also said that Seattleites spread the rumour of "it always rains here" so that Californians don't move here.

      But the city is the next SF in the making on all other negative fronts, so don't move here.
