I wanted to give DoorDash a try since Iโve heard great things about it. I ordered food delivery from it a few weeks ago and an hour after the order, they cancelled on me! I contacted the restaurant and they told me to pick it up by myself. ๐
2nd time I ordered was not any better. The app kept delaying the arrival time every 15 mins. It finally arrived after 1.5 hour! ๐
The worst thing was that I was not able to contact the customer service at DoorDash at all so I could not cancel the order!
This would NEVER happen to Uber eats and if it did, they would give me extra credit for my next order.
Iโve been told by restaurants that this issue is prevalent in DoorDash and DoorDash keeps cancelling on them as well! ๐ก
Anyone at DoorDash care to explain?

With Doordash, Iโve often had orders delayed beyond 2 hours actually.
Never had an issue with door dash other than occasional long delays peak pandemic, likely caused by lack of drivers.
What are the engineers doing ?!
