No CFO wants to be responsible for Uber’s epically failed IPO: money can’t wash that shame.
Is it going to be a fail? Lots of good people stick there. There must be something good going on.
In addition to the financials, Uber has lots of existential threats. * The biggest is probably Waymo and what they decide to do. They are 5-10 years ahead of Uber on self driving technology. Uber has lost all the top people from Otto. * Amazon has been working on AV for a while, but haven’t shared publicly. Amazon is probably the strongest operating company around and would destroy Uber if they got involved. These are both going to play out in the next 1-2 years.

Interesting this is being spun as both candidates turning us down. I don’t know what happened with ZR but we passed on LT.
Maybe people who understand finance know to stay away
