Was interviewing at uber India for L5A.
After two rounds, HR is now not responding on emails.

1st round: 60min
- Generic DP problem.

2nd round: 90min
- Machine coding

I felt 2nd interviewer was a bit rude and arrogant person.
He kept cutting me while I was just thinking out loud my approach.
I don't understand what's wrong with some people?
Do they really want to hear what they know only?

I was under the impression that Uber India has some standards like Google india when it comes to interviews.

Very poor interview experience.

I really don't understand what's the deal with HR ego. Tell you what, move on and start interviewing with other companies. And after you switch, call this out publicly on LinkedIn, with uber and the hr person tagged. This is how you do a comeback.

Just chill on dude, no need to prove yourself everywhere. But this hr bullying is really annoying. Someone has to stand upto them in a forum like linkedin. And how is it defamatory if it's a fact? This lines up on the issue that hiring committee is not doing a decent job.

Given how desperate uber is for hiring, and especially so at L5A, I can almost guarantee that they no longer think you are a fit. Although I agree they should be polite about informing you.

  • Not sure whatโ€™s happening with HRs these days, few years back they used to respond nicely even for a reject. I am also victim of this ghosting for few companies, I have learned to move on now, but this is a very bad culture as per me.
Once a hr reached out me 15 days after I dropped couple of mails and calls with an offer, but out of frustration I didnโ€™t even reply, luckily company was not that great either else I wouldโ€™ve lost a good opportunity ๐Ÿ˜‚
