Depends on what you can live with at a minimum in terms of financial flexibility and your life cycle. Bonus could be more generous (circa 16%, could be 25%). Uber stock probably needs to be discounted heavily for now but honestly over a 4y horizon (if you plan to stick for that long) it could halve again or you could end up with over 1mm, but I would say you shouldn't decide based on that (I'd discount it to 50% then do TVM calculation to today to give yourself a sense for your minimum future financial situation). Ride share has few competitors for now, so could be huge but make the worst case your base case

      Pretty common as other companies.
1 phone interview and then on-site interview.
On-site had 2 coding, 1 system design, 1 bar raiser and one hiring manager round

  • How is the morale in Uber after the layoffs? Worth joining at this time?
    Dec 4, 2019 1
    • Not significantly different but morale wasn’t outstanding to begin with because of the stock decline. Do it if the $ are right
