Uber Offer

My recruiter is telling me that I need to tell them my competing offer in order for them to generate a salary package for me and it’s an exploding offer. Is this the case or I am getting bluffed? This is a really terrible experience, no companies I got an offer from does this.

Just add 20% premium on the best offer you have and give that number to the recruiter

They did not do this for me

Maybe it’s because they don’t want me that badly.😢

You might just have a recruiter who’s trying to get you more comp!

No such thing as an exploding offer. You'll get endless extensions as long as they're still looking for engineers who meet their bar. Tell them your other offers if they're decent. That will actually help them give you a competitive offer.
