Went through the "jam session" on-site and got invited for another 5 hour on-site. Product Manager role, 3 YoE. Recruiter says this on-site is mostly about "discussing your experience" but I seriously doubt that. I'm sure there will be at least 1-2 case studies, design, estimation etc. This recruiter is new to Uber so I don't think he knows much. Anyone want to shed some light on what to actually expect? Current TC: 🥜
What is a "jam session" in your words?
Expect product design, behavioral, tech, and pricing questions.
you will discuss a case. should be given the prompt 48h before the interview.
I did that for the "jam session". For the final on-site loop, I heard they don't give you prompt ahead of time. Is this something new?
you had a remote jam session? what team is that? normally, you have one onsite round that covers the jam session and other cross functional panelists (EM, design, data)
How long did it take them to come back to you after the Jam session? How far out is your on-site, given the corona situation?
How was the jam session? Can you share details?
How much time did you guys spend in preparing slides for the jam session?

As an Indian what would you choose as a career ?
LOL. It doesn’t take 5 hours to discuss experience. Something’s up. I never got past the 2nd phone screen with Uber.
