Do you get ride credits? Uber people, do you get Uber eats discounts? I get a company car every now and then plus an employee lease programs with new purchase discounts. TC 🎄fiddy cuz they lowball
We get Uber credits which yes can be used on Eats if we choose. We also get free Uber rides home after 10pm
The 10pm deal is SF only right?
No. 8pm in Chicago.
30% discount off rides. Eats too I believe but I haven’t confirmed it’s 30%. I use both regularly. It’s awesome.
Lies.
No - we do not get 30% off rides or eats. This person is flat out wrong
What does a company car every now and then mean? Example of cost of employee lease program?
We have a bunch of company cars that you can take if they're available
The lease program has better conditions (no long term commitments) and significant discount. Cannot share the exact number here though
Yes credits.. Monthly..applied to eats and rides both.. And 15% extra discount
17%
Lyft gets $200 in ride credits/month. You get taxed on any credits you use, which gets deducted from your paycheck.
Not quite right. The credits you use count as income, and are added to your paycheck. This is then taxed.
Is that not the same? The amount of greenbacks you get on payday is smaller if you use your credits than if you don’t. So the tax on the credits is a deduction, in common speak.
Apart from ride credits there are many other benefits: free food, $130 commuter benefits, unlimited vacation n sick, 4 months paternity/maternity.
On average, unlimited vacation usually makes people take fewer vacation days. Free food is awesome though. Breakfast, lunch and dinner?
I’ve seen some people take at least 1 month cumulative over a year. Depends on your manager and team. Breakfast n lunch. Sometimes dinner if team stays late
