Halal chicken and farm promise pork by the truck load. Boiled, of course.
Elevator pool.
Discounted Uber rides and UberEats plus hundreds in Uber credits per month. Credits are "use them or lose them" by the end of the month, but you have to pay income tax on the credits you use.
Wait really? We have to pay tax on them??
I'm not a tax person so this isn't tax advice, but my understanding is that the credits you use count as ordinary income and you are taxed on said income. My rule of thumb when using credits is that I'm actually paying ~30% of the cost when I take the discount and income tax into consideration.
Working on HARD problems. Other benefits are shit. Don't come here for that.
Thereโs an elevator that you can take up 1 floor every morning.
There are a lot of typical perks in terms of medical, dental, and others you would see at other companies. People already touched on the interesting problems and projects Specifically for uber: Working on something that people depend on to live: food, job, and transportation (for now) Free lunch everyday Free snacks Free beer after 5pm $200 in uber credits a month 20% off all uber rides/ eats. (Means your credits are actually worth $240) Fitness reimbursement Free uber rides to and from major transit hubs and the office(this is in addition to your credits) Free Ubers after 10pm to anywhere you want if you're working late at the office
Any idea how far can the transit hub be? Like 15 min from office works?
