Uber current 409a value
I am expecting L5 offer from Uber. Recruiter mentioned that I will be getting stock at new 409a values. Did the value significantly change after recent funding? What is the current 409a stock price? Current TC 350

What's a reasonable valuation for Uber nowadays ? Somewhere between 50B and 70B presumably ?
The thing with Uber is that they will IPO in 2019, so itās not technically fully paper money. At this stage itās a promise for money in 1.5 years. The real risk is will the stock pop or crash right after IPO and before holding period ends? I think itāll pop. Tech is a winner take all business, and among Lyft and Uber I see Uber winning out. Regulation from taxi lobbies is the real threat, but even then I think Uber can partner with them and provide app liquidity to taxi drivers to make it a win win.
