Uber layoffs?
Hey i heard Uber has frozen hiring engineers, cancelled onsites and may lay people off. Can anyone confirm this? Also if so what division will be effected? The Self driving car?

My friend's on-site was canceled because of the hiring freeze, he booked flights and everything..

Ubers hiring bar is so low now. It used to be very high 3 or 4 years ago. If hiring bar is lowered then its either grunt work ahead or because they can get hold of good engineers.
