A few years ago I showed up to Uber HQ to pick up lost keys that a driver was supposed to drop off. They tried to get me to stand in line with the drivers. Well, push comes to shove and "we are all customers here sir." I ended up leaving when they started threatening to call the police. Glad I did because I found out later that the driver showed up to drop off the keys and they wanted him to stand in line for two hours.
It starts with "A few years ago..." If you lost something, I believe there's an option to have the driver bring it to you - although you might be charged $15 or something for the service.
Good catch on my first sentence.
Sorry you lost your keys, and glad to hear you got it back. Uber drivers are humans too, so if that means us riders share the same support queue they get, I think it's fair. Drivers deserve the same respect we get. That being said, I hear things in support have changed lately, and queue times are usually sub 15min now.
Where did I say that they aren't humans?
He means you don't get to cut the line.
The only way to get uber to listen to you is if you threaten them with chargebacks and switching to Lyft.
Man, fuck them!
