Having difficulty choosing. Joining as a SE 2 role in all. Pay is almost same for all so that's not a deciding factor. Will appreciate any comments. Thanks
Obviously biased -- Uber
If pay is same, I wouldn't choose uber - since their stock might be highly valued and uncertainty/drama at higher levels. Among the three, LinkedIn is the best choice!
LinkedIn is boring.
I would recommend Lyft, Airbnb or Stripe
Definitely not Uber
Uber, it's one of the most unique companies/products you can work on. Some of the bad PR has truth to it and you can see the progress we are making against it, ignore PR that's blatantly overblown. I'm ex-twitter. Definitely would not recommend going there - flatlined company.
Flatlined is giving it too much credit
It is a shame to be mentioned with those two. Can't imagine that two years ago. Honestly speaking for engineers there is nothing to do with broad drama. Biz is still strong!
Respect others, young Uberer
See what arrogance brings you? Still haven't learned your lesson. Stealing technology, HR protecting execs abusing female employees, insulting and abusing drivers who account for all your revenue, the shame is on you!
Lol. Twitter is dying. Uber has a crap reputation and it deserves it. Go to LinkedIn. --but for real, you have to choose based on the team.
I would say keep looking
almost definitely do not keep looking. These are solid options if you want to be in the city, airbnb is another but there are serious koolaid and product-culture red flags there. Only other co I'd consider is instagram if you really like the product, but you'd be working in MP.
How can compensation be equal? Uber would have more paper money! LinkedIn would be hard cash.. If in papers, both are equal, go for LinkedIn
