Which offer should I take? New Grad, Computer Science from one of top 10 schools. Which one of these match offers?
Don't fuckin take Bloomberg I'll tell ya that.
TC?
PhD? What level Microsoft gave you?
Not sure about the level internally. Masters.
Could you share their offer?
Why on earth is Bloomberg even on this list?
The same reason why Microsoft is.
Go to ATG! (I'm in the same boat as a new grad and choosing it) lots of upside on stock despite what the haters say and ATG has lots of fun problems to work on. I may consider Google again in the future but ATG seems like the slightly riskier but still at least as rewarding even in the worst case. You're young and can afford that kind of risk, and tbh I don't think it's very risky at all. Feel free to PM me.
If you want to do ml/data science there are some awesome roles with great visibility in MS. You will advance pretty quickly. Tons of opportunities for ml in ms or you could transition to sde there if you wanted down the line. Obviously if you're more interested in a traditional sde role, google could give you that. Uber self driving may not be the best place right now if want a stable job. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/19/technology/uber-self-driving-cars.html I wouldnt consider bloomberg with the other offers you have.
I like how Google is traditional and MS is high growth
As a new grad you want to maximize the potential for learning. That means you need somewhere that has a strong engineering culture and moves quickly. That would be Uber. Upside is probably also largest there.
Isnt Uber ATG in Pittsburgh ? Would you be ok with moving there ?
