Uber folks here, I have couple questions during onboarding: How much do I get if I opt for bring own phone during on boarding? Is that expensed/reimbursement with receipt, or just extra cash to my paycheck ? Is there any subsidy for home WiFi, monitor etc during the COVID time for new hire ? Thx.
1) Extra cash in your paycheck. It is 50 USD per month 2) One time stipend 500 USD. 3) No subsidy but you can reimburse your monitor through wellness reimbursements which is like 68 USD per month

I assume $50 a month would be taxed. What phone does Uber provide if I take the company phone? Also, can I retain my own phone number? (It's not a ridiculous request! FB does this.)
AFAIK, tax deductible 50 Usd per month added to your payslip,no questions asked. Nit sure about WFH benefits.
