Hi fellow Uberites.
I’v few questions regarding upcoming 5A loops for me. I am currently L62. 6yoe.
1. Is L62 to 5A possible? levels.fyi depicts that 5A is a clear uplevel from L62
2. The JD I have is related to Developer’s platform group and hints towards internal tooling. I’v been on engg side of things and not devops / tooling. Are the loops tightly coupled to a specific team OR is there a team matching concept?
3. I am drawing around 70k$ (🇮🇳) and would probably gain 6-7k$ in TC after annual review happening next week. What would be a fair TC expectation from U5A?
4. I am fairly expecting for loop expectations to be quite high. What would you recommend for preperation. I am currently resorting to getting deep in designs and not in DSA and would probably request for a good 8 weeks prep time.
5. Would you encourage a move from Msft to Uber? I am not cliffing in Msft for next 3 years and stocks have been sweet

3) I have heard L5A can go upto $120K or slightly higher, in India.
5) Depends on your goals. If it's to stay for a short term, make $ & then scram, then yeah.
