I have recently received a google new grad offer for DC location. I was wondering how I could negotiate my offer to get a better TC.
Current offer:
base: 127k
stock: 90k/4
yearly bonus: 15% ~19k
no sign-on
What I would like:
base: 127k
stock: 120k/4
yearly bonus: 15% ~19k
15k sign-on
I have also interviewed and finished my onsite at:
Meta: fairly confident I can get the offer
Amazon: fairly confident I can get the offer
Qualtrics: very sure I can get the offer
Palantir: 😬 have a chance
If I was to get at least those three offers (let's say I get rejected by Palantir) how likely is it I can use those offers to get my google one up to what I want?
TC: Intern-too ashamed to even put it on here
YOE: 0

You can also say something like “I’m expecting offers from 3 other companies but if you give me X I’ll sign now.” This is risky if other offers come in much better.
That said, I doubt there’s much variance in new grad pay.
