I applied to Microsoft and got referred over 2 weeks ago, and the role still shows as "in review" in the action center. Do the referred resumes actually get reviewed or did they just not close my application?

Tell the person who referred you to PING the hiring manager DIRECTLY with your resume and info. That way they can pull your resume directly and set up the interview.
I've done that and gotten many people hired that way. It's the only (realistic) way.
And given you already applied it should be super easy for HM to just pull your resume.
Would I wanna stay forever? Probably not, but it could be a good place to gain some more experience until the next role.
