“Under consideration” for multiple reqs at Amazon

Friends at Blind, I need your sage advice, please: I’ve been applying to roles at Amazon and just recently flew to Seattle for a final round of interviews last week after many grueling rounds of phone/Chime intervews. This specific position is my least favorite option of 3 and requires relocation. I am also “under consideration” for two additional roles which I’m far more excited about and do not require relocation. However, it’s my understanding that you cannot interview for more than one role concurrently and the process simply got started for the first one before the others. My question is; if I am lucky enough to receive an offer, should I turn down the first role with the expectation that I would move on to the other two? Do you immediately begin the interview process all over again or is there a “waiting period” before you can interview again? Are my chances stronger if I was just offered a position on another team? Any advice you can offer would be really appreciated. TC: Before you ask, I’m *not* an engineer and dont make sh*t compared to you guys.

“under consideration” doesn’t mean anything. If you deny the offer, there is no guarantee you will even be interviewed for others. But from eligibility perspective, after turning down an offer you are eligible to interview for another role right away.

My experience with amazon is they will help you out if you say you found another team you are more interested in . But I am an engineer ...
