Just as title says - I have 7 YOE in FP&A, joined Cisco as a strategy manager supporting sales. Remote in FL,145k, 12% bonus, no RSUs...is this bad? Potentially looking at an offer of $180k at a late-stage startup (have series d funding, back in fp&a)....is it wise to leave Cisco for a startup?
Yes. Arris was bought by Commscope.
Nothing wrong with leaving for a late stage start up, you can get great experience and feel like you’re moving the needle. Is 180K base? What level role is this? Are you going to get equity, how much?
No bonus, but stock options. Not sure what discount is
If this is for a manager role, I think it’s competitive. My stock options were in the range of $30-50k annually
Cisco was never a great paying company. It always has been a decent paying company, nothing more.
Isn’t Arris bought by CommScope?
