Understanding Google Antitrust

The article below claims that 41% of Google first page results are to it's own websites and Google is using its monopoly to drive traffic to its own properties (Search, Map, Youtube, Shopping, ...) Try a simple query "Stranger Things" in Google Search on Desktop Browser. There is 1 Netflix link in comparison to 11 Youtube link and instead of actors IMDB link, Google is using its own Search widget for actor profile. This is the basis for entire Google antitrust as Google is creating products/widgets and driving traffic to its own website using its monopoly. https://zyppy.com/googlespeak/ #google #is #evil

It's not first link. It's the entire first page. Even the first link is Cast members (not the netflix link) which points to Google pages instead of IMDB.

Google, Amazon and Facebook all should be split on Google Search, YouTube Amazon store, AWS, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

That link is certainly an interesting perspective, but I’m not so sure I agree that googles actions are harming consumers

Microsoft lost the browser war after antitrust lawsuit.

It does. It wouldn't be able to charge 30% on apps otherwise. And you as a consumer will likely pay less without such high Google/Apple tax. Instead of a normal competition to provide the best service at the lowest cost, Google is paying the potential competitors not to compete so it can keep the monopoly on Android
