Considering the recent layoffs that took place, would it be worth attempting to unionize the employees that work at Wayfair? I believe Wayfair wouldn't have been able to lay off its employees as easy If we did come together and form a union. Please let me know what you think! zd1993
The workers should take control of the means of production.
The last capitalist we hang shall be the one who sold us the rope.
Revolutions are the locomotives of history.
Let the ruling classes tremble at a communist revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Workingmen of all countries, unite!
I hope you're fired soon. You're an embarrassment
Judging by the fact that poof posted several comments in a row, and that all of them are just quotes, I’d bet s/he is trolling :)
If they have given you 2 month notice or decent severance, I believe better look for new job, I would recommend not to lose your energy on unionizing employees, unless you would like to be a politician
Is that the company, that hires bunch of new grads in training/probation period at bad pay — get them to do a project— and then just fire them saying performance wasn’t good enough
I think it might have more to do with overforecasting and then c-level going "oooh fuck". I wish svp and above bonuses were directly tied to the number of fuckups per quarter
Losses doubled in q3 while growth fell off pace. If they dont make cuts they cant raise money and everyone will be out.
Lmao talk to HR about this amazing idea
The implied joke is that HR will terminate this person on the spot for a thoughtcrime which is EXACTLY the reason why the workers should unionize: to be able to communicate freely with the company without fear of retaliation.
